It fits great! Changing out the face shields is a little challenging...but I know it will be safe. I love that I can talk to my husband while we ride now!
Good quality, but they are a tight fit for a large helmet.

The right helmet depends on how and where you ride. Here's how our styles compare:
Not sure which style suits you? Compare them in our guide to full face vs modular vs dual sport helmets, or start with our best-selling motorcycle helmets. Want a built-in headset? See our Bluetooth motorcycle helmets.
A helmet only protects you if it fits. Measure around the widest part of your head, just above your eyebrows, and compare it to our helmet size chart. A new helmet should feel snug all the way around without pressure points, and it shouldn't roll forward or backward when you move your head. Our guides explain how to measure your head, how head shape affects fit, and why comfort matters for safety. If the size isn't right, domestic exchanges are free.
Motorcycle helmets for street use in the U.S. must meet the federal safety standard FMVSS 218, often called "DOT approved," and carry a DOT label on the back. The standard sets requirements for impact absorption, penetration resistance, and chin strap strength. All GDM helmets are DOT-certified. Watch out for novelty helmets that aren't; NHTSA explains how to spot them. Learn more on our DOT certification page or in DOT vs ECE vs Snell, explained.
Measure around the widest part of your head and compare the measurement to our size chart. GDM adult helmets come in sizes S to 2XL. If you're between sizes, contact us and we'll help you choose.
Yes. Every GDM motorcycle helmet is DOT-certified to FMVSS 218 and legal for street use in all U.S. states.
Full face helmets offer the most protection because the chin bar covers your face and jaw. Modular helmets offer strong protection when the chin bar is locked closed. Open face helmets leave your face exposed, so wear eye protection.
Price alone doesn't tell you whether a helmet is safe. Every DOT-certified helmet must meet the same FMVSS 218 requirements. Higher-priced helmets usually add features, lighter shell materials, or extra certifications. Always check for the DOT label and avoid novelty helmets.
Most riders replace their helmet every 3–5 years, and always after a crash or a hard drop. Our guide explains when to replace your helmet.
Orders ship from our Los Angeles warehouse, and most arrive in 2–5 business days. Domestic shipping is free on orders over $99.
