MOTORCYCLING, AND OTHER ACTION SPORTS ARE INTRINSICALLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES, WHICH MAY RESULT IN INJURY AND/OR DEATH. GDM PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED TO OFFER COMFORT AND HIGH PERFORMANCE, AND EVEN IF SPORTS PEOPLE SHOULD WEAR APPROPRIATE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, NO PRODUCT CAN OFFER TOTAL PROTECTION AGAINST INJURY OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND TO PEOPLE OR TO PROPERTY IN THE EVENT OF A FALL, COLLISION, IMPACT, LOSS OF CONTROL ETC. ALL MOTORCYCLISTS AND OTHER SPORTS PEOPLE MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH THE ACTIVITY THEY ARE DOING AND AWARE OF THEIR ABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS WITH REGARD TO THE ACTIVITY AND THE EQUIPMENT THEY ARE USING. THEY MUST ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY POTENTIAL RISKS INVOLVED AND DECIDE WHETHER SUCH RISKS SHOULD BE TAKEN OR NOT. GDM SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY WHILE GDM PRODUCTS ARE BEING WORN. GDM PROVIDES NO EXPLICIT OR IMPLICIT GUARANTEE REGARDING THE SUITABILITY OF ITS PRODUCTS FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE, NEITHER DOES IT GUARANTEE THE DEGREE OF PROTECTION THAT SUCH PRODUCTS ARE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING AGAINST PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.

Every GDM motorcycle helmet, apparel item, Bluetooth communicator, and accessory is backed by our official warranty. We stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to making sure riders receive gear that performs as expected.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, workmanship issues, and material failures — never wear‑and‑tear or damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper care.

Warranty Coverage

Helmets

All GDM helmets include a 1‑year limited warranty covering:

  • Shell defects
  • Liner or padding defects
  • Hardware or strap failures
  • Manufacturing or assembly issues

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from impacts or crashes
  • Scratches, scuffs, or cosmetic wear
  • Improper storage or exposure to extreme heat
  • Modifications or aftermarket alterations

Helmets involved in an accident should always be replaced, even if damage is not visible.

Bluetooth Communicators

Bluetooth units include a 1‑year limited warranty covering:

  • Electronic malfunctions
  • Charging or battery defects
  • Internal component failures
  • Manufacturing defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage
  • Physical damage from drops or impacts
  • Wear‑and‑tear on cables or mounts
  • Software issues caused by unauthorized modifications

Apparel (Jackets, Gloves, Backpacks)

Apparel items include a 90‑day limited warranty covering:

  • Stitching defects
  • Hardware failures (zippers, snaps, buckles)
  • Material defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear‑and‑tear
  • Abrasion from riding or falls
  • Fading, staining, or weather exposure
  • Damage caused by improper washing or care

Visors, Shields & Accessories

Visors, shields, and accessories include a 30‑day limited warranty covering:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Fitment issues
  • Hardware defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Scratches
  • Fogging
  • Wear‑and‑tear
  • Damage from improper installation

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your item qualifies for warranty service, our U.S. support team is here to help.

Step 1 — Contact Support

Email us with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

Step 2 — Evaluation

Our team will review your claim within 2–3 business days.

Step 3 — Resolution

If approved, we will:

  • Replace the item
  • Provide a comparable item
  • Or issue store credit

All warranty claims are processed through our Los Angeles warehouse for fast turnaround.

Warranty Limitations

  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser only
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Warranty does not cover commercial or rental use
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper care
