The GDM DK-630 Youth Motocross Helmet is a DOT FMVSS-218 certified youth dirt bike helmet for boys and girls. It has a classic motocross shape with an adjustable peak visor and a vented chin bar, made to wear with goggles on dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs.

Youth dirt bike helmet with motocross style

The DK-630 gives young riders the same motocross look as the pros: a peak visor, a long vented chin bar and a wide eye port for goggles. It's a kids dirt bike helmet built for trails, tracks and backyard riding on dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs.

DOT certified protection

The DK-630 is DOT FMVSS-218 certified. An injection-molded ABS outer shell sits over an expanded polystyrene (EPS) inner shell that absorbs impact energy, and a double D-ring chin strap keeps the helmet secure. The DOT label is on the back of the shell.

Peak visor and goggles

The peak visor adjusts to block sun and roost, and it comes off when you don't need it. There's no face shield: like most motocross helmets, the DK-630 is made to wear with youth MX goggles, sold separately.

Comfortable, washable liner

The liner and cheek pads are removable and washable, so the helmet stays fresh after muddy rides.

GDM youth helmets run true to size. Every GDM youth helmet uses the same sizing.

Measure: wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your head, about 1 inch above your eyebrows and just over your ears. Measure twice and use the larger number.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size.
Fit: a new helmet should feel snug all around with no pressure points. The pads break in after a few rides. If it moves when you shake your head, go down a size.
Head shape: GDM helmets fit an intermediate oval head.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight
Replace after any impact, even if no damage is visible

1‑Year Limited Warranty
Most GDM helmets include a 1‑Year Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials, components, and workmanship.
Wear‑and‑tear, cosmetic damage, accidents, impacts, and misuse are not covered.

Nice helmet for kids with ebikes

Good helmet. I feel my kid is safe in it. He loves it. It fits snuggly. He’s 11 years old, with an average size head. I’m not a fan of the strap though. It has to be threaded through as opposed to snapping closed, but that’s more of a preference issue for me. It actually might be safer the way it’s designed, but it took quite a few goes before my son could strap and instap it himself without assistance. Speak shade of black. I would have liked to pay less, but I’m satisfied with it overall.
