I got this for a buddy of mine and he seems to like it a lot. He said the sound quality is good but it can be a little louder. It came with a mic but as we’ve tried and as far as we are aware we can only use that for phone calls. It was easy to install and the controls are convenient and easily accessible, overall not bad for the price.

Since there are many different factors to this headset I am going to give different ratings to different things. For reference I ride a Harley Davidson Sportster 48, 1200cc motorcycle with stock pipes.Overall I want to give this headset a 3.5/5.Setup: 2.5/5- I had several issues with setting the headset up for use. The speakers are quite bulky and hard, so when I put them in the suggested location in my helmet, they smashed my ears down and were very uncomfortable. The suggested spot is a small circle under the cheek pads of most helmets. Mine had these recessed circles so I tried the speakers there first.- What I eventually had to do was take an x-acto knife and cut new recesses for the speakers in a different spot in my helmet. Luckily I only had to cut foam pieces off.Speakers: 4/5 for music, 2/5 for calls- The quality of the speakers is pretty low, but for small speakers that are packed inside my helmet they aren't too bad. They only work well if they are literally right on your ear, so some work is required to get them in the exact right place for the best sound quality. Even at 60+ MPH and 3500+ RPMs I can turn them up to the 2nd to highest volume level and hear the music fine.- Taking calls is just not going to work for me with this headset. If I'm sitting still and the bike isn't on, I can hear the other person, but if the bike is on at all I struggle to hear. Get up to 20+MPH and they might as well not be talking.Microphone: 4.5/5- Not much to say here, it's actually a pretty good mic and multiple people I've test called have said they can hear me really clearly even when I'm going 40+ MPH.Battery Life: 5/5- I have been using it every time I ride my bike which is fairly often and I still haven't charged it once. I think it might finally be down below 50% battery but I haven't been checking and it hasn't been dying. Seems like the battery lasts for a long while.Overall for my uses, I really wish it was just a tiny bit better in the sound quality department, and with the ability to answer calls at least at slow speeds and be able to hear the other person. I am really enjoying being able to listen to music on my bike though, and I can still safely hear outside noise. For that alone it's worth the price to me.

Fits in the helmet nicely. Audio level is on the low side specially, for the phone I believe some type of audio amplifying Program would improve the overall volume level. The mount to the helmet is sometimes difficult to remove the transmitter. Overall, I would recommend this device music sounds good and the transmit audio on the phone is great. I would suggest looking into sound boosting programs on the App Store or adjusting the EQ setting in the Apple iPhone volume level is my only dislike.On this device

Really dissapointed with this as the audio sounds pretty good. I don't think they thought this through. Most helmets dont have a few inches on flat surface on them for something like this to sit flush on. It fell off overnight and i'm about to just use electrical tape to get it to stay. Think it needs sometype of velcro. The buttons are way too hard to push down on with gloves easily, and the knob for volum control can be moved too easily/by the wind.Poor design, which is a shame cause the quality of the electronics seems to be decent.

I’ve always been limited with receiving and making phone calls durning my motorcycle commutes. Due to a busy life style I use commute time as conversation time for my family that live out of state.I seen the GDM supersonic at a great price. The packaging is professional and sturdy. Upon opening the product, it’s well packaged and safe. The entire system has good weight to it seems well made. esthetically pleasing to look at and sleek design shouldn’t be a burden sticking off the side of the helmet. The product comes with both earpieces and a microphone. They plug together with a water resistant seal and tight connection.Pairing: From the box it’s charged enough to turn on and pair to your device. Pairing is supper easy, pairing mode is activated on turn on and can be found in Bluetooth settings of your phone as subsonic. Fast and easy pairing.Sound: sound quality is ok, not the greatest. Will see how that goes with road noise.For the price , this helmet Bluetooth system isn’t bad.Update: Second ride with Bluetooth and it had blown off the side of my helmet. Turns out double sided tape doesn’t do well on the side of a mat surface going 75 mph on the interstate. The road noise doesn’t allow very good acoustics no matter how high I turn the volume on my phone or on the device. Final thoughts, save a few more bucks and get a known quality device or a helmet with a built in system. The device isn’t powerful enough to produce enough sound from the speakers, and although I do have headphone cutouts in helmet, these wouldn’t stay put. I ripped the system out and tossed it.

I am so happy right now. Finally, after years of riding I have some tunes in my helmet.It was super easy to install anyone can do it. My helmet did have pockets for the speakers so that made it easier. I did have to cut the speakers out of the foam padding it came in because of the Velcro attachment.So today I went on my first ride today with music. It was fun!I never found a need for music while riding but I did have a need for something where I can answer my phone if I was out on a ride. Now I only plan on answering the phone until I can safely pull over to continue the call. Please never have a phone conversation while in the middle of a ride its just not safe.Very easy install just peel and stick so yes this device will just stick onto the side of your helmet. With my helmet I didnt get full contact so I hope its some good glue.For the wires it was easy to hide them, i unsnapped my liner and placed the speakers in before adjusting the wires under the liner.Make sure helmet is clean before applying because you only get one shot at it. No extra stickies provided in case of a mess up or if re-arranging is needed.I can't wait to try GPS navigation or the voice-activated digital assistant. I hope I dont need my helmet calling for help for me but Im glad I now have that option with voice control.The controls are easy to find while riding no problem there. The sound was better than expected I was jamming out at stop lights it had to be amusing to watch me today. LOL I was doing happy dances at each stop light with music in my ears.

I have used this device with my half helmet and with my full face helmet and with the full face helmet I can hear my music when turned all the way up. Having a phone conversation is still not possible though. My bike is considerably loud and adding in the road noise and the wind noise it’s too loud for either party during a phone call. If you have a large touring bike that has muffler’s and a windscreen I believe this would work great for you. The Bluetooth works flawlessly and battery life was good so no complaints on those details. Just don’t get loud enough for my situation.

This communicator is great as a standalone if you aren't worried about inter-connectivity. The sound quality is on par with kits that are twice the price and the microphone works well. It pairs fast on my Android and all the controls work. Overall this is a great generic buy that does almost everything the competition does but for a third the price.

Haven't had a chance to test it out, but it seems to do the job.

Looking at the size of this, I was surprised it fit in my helmet. I do have to be careful when I remove my helmet and kind of wiggle the lid off differently because of the transmitter.Decent quality sound nice to be able to have some music on long rides. I really suggest setting the volume early and not try to adjust it while you’re writing because it’s very sensitive and I blew my ears out a few times..

Easy set upTad bulky in designConnects to bluetooth without issueAdd your own 3M tape for more assurance.The way I positioned it on my HJC helmet was slightly off because I forgot to check the curvature, so be mindful of that or else the backing will lift.Feels sturdy & connects easily so for now I am satisfied.Will update if anything comes up after riding with it.

What is these and I’m so glad I did. They fit so perfectly underneath a helmet. You can hear it clearly and I can take calls safely while riding

I like the ability to communicate when he's riding. I know he can more easily call for help should he need it. I worry over and pray for him. I feel like this is an answer to some of my prayers.It was super easy to install in his helmet. The sound quality is great. I like that he doesn't need to take off his helmet if he needs to shelter during a rainstorm. I also love that it doesn't break the bank. He has two helmets, so we have one for each helmet.

I love these mics and buy a lot of them. these are great and can connect to other mics. the sound is good and so it was easy enough to connect. you just have to play around with it. for the money its really good. totally recommended. I love the look too.

Got these for my motorcycle helmet, fits where I need them, sounds is great as well.

Despite not having the correct cutouts in my helmet for this, I was able to find a comfortable spot for the speakers still. It sounds good and the call quality is decent. Does the trick, and pretty good for the price compared to more premium offerings.

Comfortable to use and hooks up to blue tooth quickly. Great sound quality.

I ordered this so my wife could have music in her helmet and maybe we could communicate on rides. It works well for music but I have not been able to pair it with my Sena yet. Need to figure out if that is something that will work. Its not super user friendly like that.

This was easy to install and works great. I mean, you should be wearing your lid ANYWAY, so why not get some tunes on it? Great for the price, easy to install, sounds great. I havent really pushed the bike since I've installed it, but it does sound great in normal city traffic (under 60).

The sound quality is decent on this, I would compare it to FM radio quality. The volume certainly gets loud enough to be heard over the engine & wind, my only issue with the volume is the control. The volume dial is VERY sensitive, which is tricky to fine tune with gloves on while going 50mph on a motorcycle and there have been a few times I have accidentally maxed the volume which feels like it is trying to blow my ear drums. A clicker type volume dial would have been a better design choice in my opinion, but I am learning to finagle it by lowering the volume first and then slowly raising it to where I want it. All the buttons function well and are easy to use with gloves on. I haven't had an occasion to test call quality as I don't talk on the phone while riding, but I have been able to use Siri without issue. I wish Siri voice activation worked instead of having to hold the button on the headset to activate it, but for the little I use it, it isn't really an issue. Overall I am happy with this headset as the few issues I have with it are manageable with a little finesse and the price-point for the features makes it a great value.UPDATE: Finally tried it out on a few phone calls while riding and WOW is it TERRIBLE for voice audio. I don't know how they designed it to be more than loud enough for music, but I could barely tell someone was on the other side of the call unless they yelled at me and even then I could not make out what they were saying. The other person said they could hear me clearly though, but conversations usually require both people being able to hear. I would absolutely not recommend this if phone calls are your primary use case.

Overall pretty nice. The first one I received would not turn on at all no matter how long you held down the power button so I had to get it replaced. The replacement worked. Easy to pair as long as you pay attention. I did not recall seeing the instructions tell you what the default name of the headset would be so if you are in an apartment complex, surrounded by other blutooth items, you have to pay attention for when the headset pops up so you recognized it. I believe it shows up as "supersonic". The volume can get loud. I have not tried calling as I have never called anyone via blutooth for anything but as far as pairing and music listening goes, it works great. Even after applying pressure and letting the outside sticky stuff cure, it felt like I could still pull off the sticky stuff accidentally if trying to remove the headset from the helmet so be careful. I docked a star for set up being unclear and issues with original product before replacement and worry over the stickiness of the headset.
